First, there was no cord in the box.
I could overlook that, but I could not even use the thing as the “usb dongle” would not at all recognize the numchuck.
It did, but, recognize the mouse, but, can’t use a mouse without the numchuck being recognized.
I wrote customer support at splitfish homepage….to no avail…no response yet.
All the waiting for this product and failure.
If you have yours working thats a start. From the reviews, very few pleased campers.
I am a PC Gamer and wanted this to work. Splitfish needs to dress up this item, make the mouse more comfortable for righthanders and fire their quality staff who inspected my item.
Amazon is a fantastic place to order from and this is no fault of their own. Splitfish deserves all of the negative credit. Putting out a item with all of the bugs and failures. Reminds me of Vista by windows.

I grew up with PC keyboard/mouse FPS. I’m trying to adapt to a console world, and I was hoping that the Frag Pro would give me the aiming control I just can’t master with the regular PS3 controller. So far, no luck. Perhaps with hours of tweaking and adjusting and nudging I’ll be able to get the sensitivities right, but I feel like out of the box (even after the firmware update) I’m swinging the aiming crosshair all over in COD MW2 and the BC2 beta on my PS3. I’ll continue to try and tweak it, but no way can I recommend spending this kind of dough on this.
UPDATE 11/30/09, returned unit:
Spent hours on MW2 playing with the game sensitivity and fragchuck sensitivity. Could never get smooth responsive performance. I also found the shape of the mouse awkward, especially the 4 thumb buttons. I had to crank my right hand at an odd angle to the left to center the right thumb between them, and at that point my middle finger was barely on the right mouse button.
This solution didn’t work for me so I’ll be waiting for another vendor to solve the FPS control issue for the PS3. Sent the Frag Pro back.

I own the first FragFX and the FragFX v2. I’m very pleased with V2, but I wanted to trythe new version.
I was unable to play a full game with the controller, even after installing a new firmware that Splitfish made available. I returned mine after not finding any other solution with Splitfish than getting a new fragFX pro. I will wait a couple of months and then try it again.
Too terrible, I was really pumped about it…

I pre-order this product and had a lot of expectation, but didn’t work for me. I have the FragFx V.1 that work just fine.
One of my huge frustration was the accuracy and response of the mouse movement. It feels like you using a trackball for the first time. I tried to get used and see If could handle with time, but after two weeks, I’m still a lot better with my fragfx and the Sixaxis playing FPS games.
Pro: Wireless, have the digital direction on the top left instead in bottom left like FragFX v.1.
Cons: 6 AAA batteries are too much and make the controller pretty heavy. Accuracy and latency response are lame for a FPS hardcore gamer. FOR ME one other huge problem is the size of the mouse and Fragchuck. I don’t reckon I have small hands, but the size of the SFX Dual are much larger than the previous product.
(sorry splitfish, I like you guys but so far this was the worst product that I got from you)
Anyone that still undecided can look out for some videos on youtube about the accuracy and response time this product.

I agree, it’s unusual, probably in the future …
